The Department of Welfare might be seen as a resource for the poor only, but this will be far from the truth. Everyone to some degree will benefit from the Department of Welfare. This will include 2 things guaranteed no matter how well off you are. This is GBI, and 1Health. GBI provides $1,000KaD to every citizen with a bank account, and 18+ ($500KaD for under 18). This will likely not mean much for those that are extremely wealthy, but even for middle income households, this can be a good addition.
1Health is the single payer healthcare system for all of Kaldus. There will be no other health insurance providers, and such businesses are simply not needed. 1Health will provide PCP, and specialty care for the patient, and they will just need to have their ID card.
