Infrastructure

The infrastructure includes not only roads and bridges, but also the things you might think about belonging to private companies. The problem is when a company builds the infrastructure, they are the ones making the prices, and people have to accept and pay or in some cases – go without. As with roads and bridges, the other components of the infrastructure in the country will belong to the government, and in places where competition will make sense, the respective companies will pay a fee to license the use of the infrastructure. In example, the government will own all of the electrical lines that will run through the state. However, companies can lease the rights to using those lines to charge customers. This puts every company on an equal playing field, and therefore true competition.
