National defense isn’t just physical anymore, but also cyber. Everything is connected these days, and there will be bad actors that would try to invade the infrastructure of the country, or its secrets. First, if something imperative to keep secret does not need to be online 24/7, then it will not be online unless absolutely needed. In addition, there will be a hardened second network throughout the country to cater to these secrets. No external addresses will have access to the second network, and every VPN service will be required to provide their IP addresses for this reason, so their IP addresses can be blocked from the second network. Since every address in Kaldus will receive their own static IP address, this should be much easier to manage entering the second network.
The cyber force will also be responsible for creating and providing powerful virus designed to disrupt, infect, and cripple an opposing country’s internet, and network structure. These viruses, and trojans will be top secret depending on how capable they are.
The Cyber Force will also be responsible for helping the National Guard, and Police with digital forensics, and therefore give another role to offer rather than being on call to cripple an enemy’s digital capabilities.
